I've spent my life at the intersection of education, leadership, service, and advocacy—guided by empathy, clarity, and conviction. Whether in the classroom, federal service, or nonprofit leadership, my purpose has remained the same: creating the conditions for people and organizations to grow with confidence and purpose.

As a military spouse, mother, educator, breast cancer survivor, and federal leader, I've experienced seasons of both celebration and challenge. Each has shaped my belief that growth is never wasted and that every experience can become a source of strength, wisdom, and service.

RISE was born from that journey. It reflects what I've learned, what I continue to learn, and what I now share with leaders, teams, and communities who want to lead with greater clarity, courage, and intention.

I don't just believe in the power of rising—I've lived it, and I've seen it transform lives.

The Meaning Behind the RISE Logo

The RISE™ logo is a visual representation of lifelong growth. Every element reflects the philosophy behind the RISE framework and the belief that leadership is not a destination, but a continuous journey of becoming.

At the center are four leaves, each representing an essential part of growth. The tallest leaf symbolizes who we are becoming. The two side leaves represent the experiences, relationships, and challenges that shape us. The smallest leaf reminds us that every transformation begins with a single courageous step. Together they remind us that growth is both deeply personal and deeply shared.

Like the rings of a tree, every season of life leaves its mark. Each challenge, success, relationship, and lesson adds another layer of wisdom. We don't begin again from the beginning; we begin again from experience.
